stumble upon Boey’s work online while blog reading. his sharpie work on foam cup stopped me. beautiful work - Flickr. so i look him up. :) with great surprise, i found out not only that he’s from my hometown, Malaysia, but he does these great illustration journal telling his great childhood stories! never stop laughing! hahah!! i fell in love…. :) a few months later, he started a kickstarter project n now the book is published! everyone should grab a copy! - CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE - my peeps from home, i’m SURE you’ll get a kick out of it! as for friends in the US, this little stories will tell you how my childhood was like back home! not entirely the same but very similar!!!! :P but in all, it’s a book tht will keep you laughing non stop! i’m only on page 10 and i’ve not stop laughing! hahah! below is a page from his recent journal: so GO GET IT HERE ——- BUY “When I was a kid” [ebook available] ——- awesome book! great job Boey! :) — foo/s around

it’s official. i’m T H E luckiest person ever. 

thank you my love - YUKI for sending me this care bracelet! <3 it’s so beautiful and precious. i put it on immediately! and to top it off, i was sent a home town food in the package! how great is that???? :) :) :) :) :) but of course, i’m not going to eat alone so, i present you with ‘maggie mee goreng’ and ‘ice-milo’ to the table! <3 

now we feast? :) <3

captivated by his addition to the photo that brightens up the mood. the power of a circle/dot. love his collection of these photos with this little extra customization.

do check out the rest of his work on his site that demonstrates more of his talent in seeing some sort of a ‘matrix’ in object.

or for me, i’d say, an obsession with patterns. particularly fluid pattern. :)
